CROSSFIT

The textbook definition of CrossFit is “constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.” But what does this actually mean? It means you will find yourself participating in a fun (constantly varied), useful (functional = transferrable to real life), and challenging (high intensity) exercise program.

What is CrossFit at Black Wolf? CrossFit at Black Wolf is all about YOU. On the surface, we want to put you through a challenging exercise program to help you achieve your goals. If you want a six pack, we want to help you get your six pack. If you dig deeper, though, we want to invest in as much of your life as you let us. We want to teach proper form in every movement so you can go out into the world and move that couch or pick up that giant bag of dog food without assistance. We want to empower you to make healthy nutrition choices so you can lead a longer, healthier life. We want to help manage your stress so you’re prepared when life hits you hard. Most of all, we want to be there for you when you need us. It is our guarantee that you are Never Alone. That is CrossFit at Black Wolf.

BLACK WOLF FITNESS BOOTCAMP

If CrossFit is synonymous with “intense,” Fitness is synonymous with “fun!” Our Fitness program generally appeals to two groups: 1) those interested in beginning a exercise program for the first time, or 2) those interested in CrossFit but might be a little intimidated or want to learn proper movement first.

Our Fitness classes are 45 minutes long with more of relaxed environment than our CrossFit classes (and lot more dance parties!). We learn the proper way to move around in life – how to squat (our body weight), how to properly pick something up off the ground (hint: with our legs, not our backs!), and how to enjoy movement and being healthy.

When you come to a Fitness class, you will likely use your body weight, dumbbells or kettlebells to get your heart rate elevated. We eliminate complex movements and barbells so you can focus on movement and having fun.

Nutrition Coaching

Change your food and you’ll change your life. Nowhere is effort more rewarded than when we focus on improving our nutrition. We sleep better, get sick less often, perform better, and our body looks better. Overall we are happier when we eat food that serves us well instead of food that hurts us and makes us sick.

Because there is so much confusion regarding what food to eat, our coaches are here to help you cut through the bullshit and get you on the path to improvement. Whether you have us coach you individually or you take part in one of our 3 annual nutrition challenges, we want to show you the way.
