The Purpose

The great frustration is that all too often we do not have confidence in our plan to improve our nutrition. Whether we hope to lose weight, change our body composition, or even add mass, there is too much noise out there to know we have chosen the correct path for our particular goals.

Black Wolf Nutrition delivers education and guidance that not only walks you down the path to progress with a coach by your side, but also instills understanding so that you are able to operate independently in the future.

Without understanding your progress is limited and shallow. But as you learn why food choices impact you in certain ways, you are better able to live your life in the future and lead those in your life through your example.

Starting Point

It is important to establish our starting point whenever we hope to achieve change. For Lifestyle & Nutrition changes we use both hard numbers as well as qualitative assessment.

The InBody 270 generates a report for our hard numbers. This is where we are able to measure our body weight, our body fat percentage, and our skeletal muscle mass. And each time we step on the scanner it plots our progress for us.

But it is equally important to measure how we are feeling at the start, the routines and behaviors that currently make up our lives, and the overall perspective we hold.

Individual Plan

We all begin at different places. Sometimes have experience with nutrition or lifestyle changes but we just need someone to hold us accountable until we are back on track.

Sometimes we have no idea where we should begin and we need someone to point us in the right direction and help us understand why that path is correct.

And other times we need someone to help us maintain perspective on where we are at and where we are hoping to go (No, you are not trying to be 0% body fat!!!!).

Your coach will work with you to create a plan based on your experience and your goals. For some this may be a macronutrient prescription while for others it may be a fully quality of food choice focused plan of attack. Often it’s a combination of both.

More Than Food

Finally, eating the right foods but no living a life we are proud of or a life that allows us to thrive is not going to get us very far.

Your coach will also challenge and encourage you to implement habits and routines that allow you to improve your mental and emotional health.

The goal is to live to 101 and to be pain free for as much of that journey as possible. That means we must manage our stress effectively, find joy in things we do, build meaningful connection, get quality sleep, and learn new things throughout adulthood (not just life lessons) all are huge contributors to our ability to maintaining a high quality of life as we age.

And also, for the shallow, high stress, low sleep, etc. will absolutely impact how your body looks.
